Today, I came home from holiday, only to find my house full of small decomposing animals, courtesy of my cat. FML

It's actually a sign that your cat loves and cares for you. He was just trying to provide you with food. He didn't know any better, he's just a cat.

I remember my neighbor's cat would leave decapitated crows and rabbits on my front porch. She was always catching and killing larger animals.

So how did those small animals get into the house in the first place? Chances are that they got in alive, and your cat disposed of them for you, saving your house from an infestation. I'd say the cat ought to be rewarded for guarding the house so diligently.

Actually, and apparently, from the cat's point of view he would be bringing home gifts of appreciation and thanks to his master. You should be HAPPY! :-D
