It's actually a sign that your cat loves and cares for you. He was just trying to provide you with food. He didn't know any better, he's just a cat.

It's better than composing small animals; rodents and other vermin write boring, bland music with too much emphasis on clarinets and a ludicrous number of piccolo trills. And then you have to pretend to like it or they cry like a guy who can't unhook a bra.

Is say the cat deserves a huge salmon for dinner! If those mice or rats were left to their own devices, they can spread disease and destroy your home.
