Today, I came home from my two week trip to Florida. At the airport, the door said "Enter Only", while a sign above it said "Do not enter." Long story short, I got arrested for "disobeying signs." Nothing says "Welcome home" like being arrested. FML

You totally obeyed......one of the signs.

Comments

the "enter only" was for the staff that could enter, everybody else couldnt. You entered, didnt you? YDI it doesnt say "you must enter"

I agree. It told you not to enter (Do not enter). And it also told you not to exit (enter only). Therefore, do not use the door.

Har ni hört om norrlänningen som åkte till New York? Jo, det enda han såg var JFK för över dörrarna stod det antingen "in" eller "out"...

After sifting through this comments list, there's a link I would post, but actually finding and posting the link on my iPhone is too much of a pain. So: Collegehumor.com > "We Didn't Start the Flame War"

About all that trolling: don't reply, people! It makes the trolls win. Downvoting with the thumb icons is a better option.

WHAT THE HELL IS RULE #17---- EVERY WIN FAILS EVENTUALLY TROLL+ARGUEMENT(=WIN)+RULE # 17=EPICFAIL

In conclusion, shut up and just enjoy the FML. For ****'s sake...

I like how all these comments have nothing to do with the FML itself. Cheers.

Do not feed the trolls. With regards to the FML: Why didn't OP just follow the other passengers if she didn't know where to go? I'm sure somebody on her flight knew how to get out of the airport without breaking any laws.

Is this an airport for retards? You seriously got arrested for that and spent time in jail? Wow lawsuit. A fine/ticket sure. Not an arrestable offense.

The "enter only" was probably for employees who CAN use that door. The "do not enter" was for all the numbskull patrons of that airport. Like you, OP! :D Though why the airport didn't just post an "employees only beyond this point" sign is completely beyond me...
