Today, I came out to my father. He seemed to be totally okay with it, as long as I'm the "man" in my relationships. FML

I havent told my dad i was bi yet.... But everyone else in my family knows, i furgured out i liked guys after everyone already thought i was so not much of a coming out story, but me my dad and my brother are mormon so yeah, but people from are church dont mind and the people from church that know wont say anything.....

Tell him that you're a man no matter what you do in bed

Ugh, it annoys me how some people assume that one person has to be the "woman" in a relationship. If we wanted a woman figure in our relationship we wouldn't be dating a guy would we? Congrats on coming out. You'll see it was the best decision you ever made!

Exactly. As a friend of mine once told me "I'm gay, I like men, the manlier the better, why would I be into girly things?"

It is sad how many people think there is a girl and a guy in a gay relationship...

Look on the bright side, he seemed to be totally ok with it, not everybody gets that.

My gf is coming out to her dad tonight

He will wrap his mind around it over time. Try to be understanding - for a straight guy, it might be hard to picture his son on the receiving end of gay sex. Same protective sense fathers have about their daughters being screwed, but somewhat encourage their sons to go after girls. Double standard? Yes. But it's his shortsighted version of showing his love for you.

I not gonna give a speech. I just wanted to say... " It takes a MAN with balls on steel to do what you did in that day" Thats my definition of "man" I hope you find someone who you love and i hope they love you back-- Equally.
