Today, my mom found my weed stash and went berserk, grounding me and saying she's going to have my bedroom door removed. Less than an hour later, I found her laughing and smoking the same stash with my dad in the backyard. FML

Today, I came from a 12-hour shift to find my clothes and stuff outside, and the locks changed. I called my mom to let me in and she told me, “Hell the fuck no, I’m not having a drug addicted junkie up in my house! You’re no longer my daughter!” and hung up. Apparently, she found my stash of weed. FML

Today, my mother told me she thinks it is time for me to move into my own place. I agreed with her and went to look at studios/flats online. She later came into my room, saw me looking at places and then got pissed off at me, saying that I hate her for wanting to leave her. FML

Today, my pill-popping mom, committing disability fraud and stealing from me, called the cops on me, and dragged the landlord into it, is now getting both of us evicted. All this because she'd rather live homeless with her drug problem than to get the help she needs, which I can't provide anymore after 10 years. FML

While it is true that you aren't addicted to the actual chemical THC in marijuana, you can become "addicted" to the effects it creates. Here's a really crappy example: you don't become addicted to being held at gunpoint by muggers, but you can get addicted to the adrenaline rush, so to get your fix, you'll walk around seedy parts of town with money hanging out your ass to get that rush again.

Whoa I hope your at least 18 when she kicked you at if not that's bad but I myself wouldn't want to deal with something like that especially if it was hard drugs effecting the family financially, emotionally, and physically (abuse). If she is doing hard drugs and effecting things at home severely she needs to seek help.

Although weed is a drug there are worse things she could do, she could be a raging drunk alcohol induces violence and the feeling to do move and do something and those actions are pushed to far by the way alcohol makes you not understand or in a very weak and thin state of mind. The point is that weed isn't horrible granted its bad that she's addicted and can hopefully change her ways to see the better, and she will but it's not a process to easily undo, so don't give up and I'm sure she'll get out of it
