Be careful of rental scams ON CRAIGS LIST. Always walk thru the apartment and never send money out of the country. I know some one who sent every cent they had to Nigeria for a fake apartment.

If you don't like the way your mom lives her life while you live under her roof, find your own roof. She's not addicted to weed she just isn't going to let an ungrateful leech of a child tell her what to do.

It ruins your life. Because my moms a pothead she lost her job and now my dad is the only one making any money. And yet she says it's his fault why we don't have any money. Thank God I finally got a job. So now I, an 18 year old will be helping my dad with bills and anything else. I'm Also the one who constantly gets chewed out for EVERYTHING. And it's not even my fault. I'm sorry and I hope she will cone to her senses and realize what is more important in life.

Ok I've read about half of the comments when I finally had enough... I study at a Medical University. I've got a subject called "Medical Chemistry". In one of the lectures there is a sentence that clearly states "THC is addictive neither physically, nor psychologically" The state of being high can be addictive of course. But actually weed is less harmful to your body than some drugs you buy when you're feeling sick. This includes Algopyrin, and most of the antibiotics. Also research has shown that some cannabinoids are good for inflamed joints(lol, the irony) and there are even tumor suppressors among them. So now that the argument, "weed is dangerous and kills brain cells like hell", of ALL the ignorant people who know nothing about how the damn thing works is invalid, we can move on. Weed is a drug. So is caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, and even the fckng chocolate. The simple fact that it is illegal is absolutely irrelevant from the moral point of view in this story. And actually we can't judge the mom's behaviour morally, because we don't know the circumstances. Maybe, she works her arse off and use it to relax, maybe she doesn't do anything but sit home and smoke weed. If it's the first, then I'd kindly ask OP: Y U NO respect your mother or even smoke the pot with her? If it's the second, then I'd just like to tell OP: You were an idiot to make an ultimatum like that. Whether she's "addicted" or not you must respect your parents more than this or else don't be surprised if they treat you like this. AND YEAH I KNOW.... TL;DR. now go back wanking.
