The last guy I dated was Jewish. I knew that before the end of our first date. 2 months later his mom was wondering if I was ready to convert, you know, for the children. If you're close enough and are comfortable with decorating your boyfriend's apartment, then you should have known he was Jewish... I sense the force is poor with this couple.
You have a key to his house but didn't know he was Jewish?!?!
To be fair, Christmas isn't just celebrated by Christians. I'm Buddhist and I celebrate it. It's not even traditionally a Christian festival, it has Pagan origins.
To be fair, if something's been going on for 1600 years, you can pretty much call it traditional.
it's the thought that counts.
I wouldn't have cared
I don't mean to be rude, but...why were you decorating your boyfriend's house? Might just be me, but I'd find that really unsettling.
Oy vey that is a bad move.
That's really ******* presumptuous.

If she didn't already know her boyfriend was jewish, I feel it was too early in the relationship to do anything to his house as a surprise.
I find it creepy that you broke into his house.
