That sounds like I'm my own grandpa saying, that really sucks for you, sorry.
Sounds like some people need to grow up. Is your mother-in-law thrilled about the man her daughter chose to marry? I know if people considered everyone else feelings not many couples would be married. My father-in-law hated me but his daughter loved me so we got married anyways. Does that make us horrible people?
That sucks. Let's hope you can stop them
Soon to be fiancée? so are they not officially engaged just yet or is that a typo? either way that's so weird O_o Christmas would be easier though, visit your dad and your mother-in-law in one go, look on the bright side OP! :)
stepsister? ew okay you really need to talk to your dad about this
I always love making families smaller
This is a WTF moment for me.
If you marry your sister that's incest, so if your parent is getting married to your parent in law is that "legal incest"? Serious question btw
No. Incest laws only concern blood relations, not legal ones. You'd just end up with a lot of family drama if it were against the law to have sex with someone who happens to be related to someone your family member is legally bound to. A long time ago, I was dating my brother's girlfriend's brother's girlfriend's sister, which was convoluted in a fun way.
please help me out here. is this an american thing, because I don't see a problem here. yes, they kind of become step siblings, but...they're not blood related, so who cares?
Only real issue would be if the new couple had kids, and what that would do psychologically. "My half brother is married to my half sister!"

Definite FYL, you'll be married to your step sister
That's awkward, I've seen this happen before. Just an overall bad situation.
