Today, I discovered that the painful eczema I get every winter was actually being caused by the moisturising cream I use to treat it. FML

So you started using the cream for no reason then?...

She's also *15 years old*. It's guys like you that make me want to build a concrete fortress around my house to prevent any sick ***** like you from getting to my daughter.

Ok so i have eczema so i know the pain and creams don't always help and during the winter is the hardest time to fix it.. Iveput up with or since i was six so i understand

that makes absoloutly no sense at all you would be using cream to fix nothing first for so reason retard

ahh sucky, i've had it for 10yrs. I know how you feel :(

how does the cream that treats it cause it? why would you be using it in in the first place? YDI

why the hell did you use the cream in the first place then? this makes no sense

I have had the same problem all year round, since a few weeks after I was born. It's not as simple as just not using the cream in the first place as so often it is not possible to know what it is which is causing the eczema. I used hydrocortizone cream for years even though it was making my skin itch more, because as a child that is what I was told to do. As I got older they started listening to me and tried different creams, which didn't work either. It's quite possible that OP thought that it was the weather which made the eczema worse, which is completely plausible. To people asking why he used the cream to prevent eczema: in some cases moisturising cream can help prevent the dry skin, which is a sign of eczema.

I have eczema too. It sucks. Soak for 30 mins in a luke warm "aveeno oatmeal baby bath". Use like 3 packs of the oatmeal. It is cheap and soothes the itching, redness, and pain. I have severe eczema and this helps a lot. Moisturize with aveeno baby lotion. Feel better!
