OP, I assume you mean that your phone doesn't recognize your fingerprint. I also have that problem. In my case it's because I had chickenpox badly on my hand as a child and my fingerprints aren't "normal"... My advice is to just forget about using the fingerprint detection feature (disable it) and just use the passcode - Far less frustrating than constantly retraining the fingerprint detection which never works for some of us. By the way the face recognition on newer products works well.
i think OP meant his touch screen, as in his phone, won’t let him scroll up, down, left or right due to the intensity of OP’s eczema. You need actual skin in order to operate a phone’s touch screen (or a rubber material similar to skin) whether you are unlocking the phone, making a phone call, or utilizing other smart cellular device applications. Even with face recognition, in order to use the phone past unlocking it, you need fingers and hands to enjoy the functions of the phone. Hope this helps.
