Today, I drove 2 hours to my sister's wedding, only to find out my invitation was sent to me by mistake. She had me kicked out. FML

That's ridiculously low, especially for your sister... Unless there's some hidden beef you're not telling us about

Send her a present and be like, "oops I made a mistake" and take it back

That's why you should always call beforehand, OP

Probably not telling us they strolled in an hour late or whatever mid ceremony and caused a scene…

Sorry OP, me and my [now] husband addressed all the invites ourselves because we were picky about our guests and I deliberately left out my sister because she was a total ****-stain to me and my hubby less than a year prior. Her shitty behavior included her telling one of my friends to break us up because I was a manipulative bitch who deserved to be hurt and my how husband was an asshole. [her words] She later pitched a fit over "being shunned from her sister's wedding" and I got yelled at for it. Obviously something happened between you and her that would have warranted her kicking you out,

This sounds suspicious, I mean if it WAS true, they didn't discover this error when op rsvp'd ?

there's an FML awaiting publication in the moderation section about a woman kicking her sister out when she showed up at her wedding because the sister had slept with the bride's prior husband. that's not you, or is it?

Well OP, there must be a history of disagreement between your sister and you because unless she got engaged and married in less than 2 weeks, I can't imagine that you 2 wouldn't have discussed the wedding if you were on speaking terms. Then maybe you thought that she was trying to make it up with you? It's also your sister's fault though, she should have handled her invitations personally. I sent my invitations and there are people from my family that I deliberately left out. I wanted to make sure that only people I like would show up.
