Today, I drove my cousin to her wedding. The photographer said I was too ugly for the official photos so they searched the crowd for a good looking guy to pose as the driver in my new car. No one in the crowd stopped to defend me. My mom told me it's my own fault. FML

Today, I’m supposed to be a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding, but she doesn’t want me in the photos because I’m over a foot taller than her and the other bridesmaids, and it will look silly in the photos. I told her I won’t even bother attending, and mom actually took her side. FML

I would find out who that photographer is and who he/she works for. Even if he/she works for themself, I would find out the address/phone number of the business and then I would sue them. Part of the evidence is showing that YOU own the car and that someone else is in the pictures. If "ugly" meant that you dress/appear in a way that your family doesn't approve of (tattooed face/lots of piercings etc.*) then YDI for not respecting their values as you were invited to participate in the wedding in the first place. But if you were told you were ugly for something you couldn't easily do something about (severe acne/burn scars/early hair loss), then your family sucks and I would seriously consider washing your hands of them because you deserve to be treated better. No matter what, sue the photographer because no one who wants to remain employed has any business making comments like that. *I actually think tattoos are quite cool, as are piercings but that was the only example I could think of off the top of my head. I have several tattoos/piercings but I keep them concealed/remove them when I am with my family out of resepct for them.

Wow this must be the 1st fml i've seen from South Africa. Sucks to be you though. As someone stated earlier, i would have flipped him (the photographer) off and stayed inside MY car. If the marrying couple also wasn't happy with that, **** them, also your parents for being douchebags. P.S I'm also South African
