Today, I felt frisky, so I did my hair and put on make-up and some lingerie. I walked into the living room, where my husband was playing a video game. He glanced up, said, "Oh, for fuck's sake." and made me wait nearly 15 minutes for him to reach a save-game point. FML

I would have walked right back out and changed into the least sexy thing I owned. And when he was ready Id be reading a book!

Getting to the save spot is pretty essential for gamers... If you waited for him you're an amazing wife!

God I hate the stereotype that women are always turning men down for sex. I have never claimed to have a "headache" in my life, and my sex drive has always been higher than my partners'. And to the idiots that are commenting that "if it was a man commenting women would be all screaming that how dare he expect her to drop everything for sex", you just completely miss the point. It isn't about her expecting him to drop everything, it's about how he reacted. She made an effort to look sexy and be romantic and he pretty much shat all over that and acted as though her making an effort for him was an imposition. What an ass! Also, I'm a gamer myself. Favourite games atm Skyrim and Dragon Age (I go through phases with what I feel like playing). If my man wanted to get busy I wouldn't care if I had just, by sheer dumb luck, killed a hugely overpowered boss that had taken me ages to get past, I'm putting the controller down and paying him attention. If he just wanted my attention to tell me something, I'd still not react with "oh for effs sake", I'd ask him to hold on a bit babe I'm kicking some ass and I'll be right with you. Priorities and respect people, come on.

That's impressive. When you are really nice into a game. Not much can get a person out. Since he only made you wait for him to save instead of getting bored, you should feel appreciated.

Well you did marry a gamer, sooo...

I'm sure the expletive was *because* he was so far from a save point. I know it may seem silly, but there is often a lot of effort going into games. Such is a hazard of dating a gamer.

His comment would have put me off entirely. You picked a bad time too

OP, I would've walked right back into the bedroom and changed into pjs or something. Told him you snooze you lose. Or in his case, you can't turn it off so I got turned off 😂 forreal though, you deserve better than that.
