Smash the phone in front of her, have someone record it. Use it as a reminder for her every time she acts up. And tell her if she wants a phone she'll have to get a job and pay for it herself.

Well, for drugging you, you can now tell her that her current phone is being donated and buy her cheap flip phone only capable of making calls for emergency situations. Tell her that's all she's getting until she grows up and buys her own smartphone. This is a dangerous point in her growth, right here, OP. Don't let her think drugging you with sleeping pills is okay or it could get worse.

Whatever you do, OP, don't play down what she did to you. She could have killed you. Do whatever you can to make sure she realizes what she did was a crime. Put all medication in your house behind a locked door that only you have access to. Make sure she understands her actions have consequences. Also, either get rid of her phone, make her buy it back at full price, or downgrade it to a very basic one that can only call or text (unless, of course, you live in an area that still has payphones). Time how long the main route home from school takes and set a curfew (or pick her up yourself if you have time) so she can't avoid any further punishment from you. Make her do chores all weekend, every weekend. Don't give her any privliges until she feels truely sorry for drugging you. This is all at the very least. TL;DR Don't take being drugged lightly and punish her until she understands its not okay to be a psycho bitch.

I think this would be a wonderful opportunity for you to take your daughter to the gun range, hang her phone off the line at about 30 feet, put a few rounds through it, and then hand it back to her. Then ground her for a month with no TV, internet, or computer (aside from schoolwork.)
