Today, I gave my phone number to a guy at the movie theatre. I was excited to receive a text a few minutes later, sure enough when I unlocked my phone I had received a message from an unknown number. It was his girlfriend. FML

It may sound rude, but I know for a fact that every single one of my female friends have had to use this or some other excuse to get a guy to leave her alone. We can't know if you are a nice guy or if you're a "nice guy" that turns into a complete douche the moment we say no to you.

Lots of guys won't take no for an answer. So it's become common, especially with creepy guys. That 1 dude posted on here how a chick game her his number to send a pic not to say she was interested and hoped he could text her. He didn't seem to get how that would be creepy.

All through high school, I would get calls from someone I never met. He always said I gave him my number, but I had no idea who he was. Also never found out what the eff kept happening.
