Today, I finally worked up the courage to tell my mom that I'm gay. She sympathetically patted my back and told me I don't need to make up excuses for me being so unattractive to women. FML

Today, I came out to my mom. I had an epic speech planned, and when I tried to tell her, it all fell apart and I started crying and just said, "I'm gay." After a few seconds silence, my mom sighs and says, "Duh." FML

Today, my mom called me into the living room to say that she had something important to tell me. She then explained how she and my dad had "talked things over" and wanted me to know that they accept me and love me no matter what. Apparently my mom thinks I'm lesbian. I'm not. FML

Today, I came out to my parents. My mother laughed and, when I asked her what was so funny, she told me, "Well, most gays are attractive, muscular, funny and can dress very well. You're ugly, fat, boring, and have no sense of fashion. Good luck." FML

Today, I introduced my girlfriend to my parents. My mother turned to me and said, "Wait you're actually gay? I thought you were just saying that to piss off your father." I came out to her when I was 16, and have confided in her about my past relationships. FML

Today, after having a long talk with my mother about LGBT rights, she told me that she was totally open. I felt completely relieved, being gay myself. Seconds later, she said, "But not for you. I want you to find me a nice girl that can give me lots of grandkids." FML

Today, I told my mom that I’m a lesbian. She was fine with it, supported me 100%, and it was a huge relief, until she followed up with, “Until you find a husband, then you’ll obviously have to stop all that.” The reason I even told her is because my girlfriend just proposed to me, and we’re engaged. FML

You're just asking for hate with a comment like this, so I'll give it to you. Do you really think homosexuality is a belief? Religion is a belief. I believe you're a moron. Who the hell cares if his mother or other people "believe" him? Homosexuality isn't something you think about. You either are or you aren't. You may not think you're prejudiced, but you have a lot to learn about sexuality.

true #39. Also i dont believe people are naturally born gay. I think this because, gays all tend to have a similar voice and tone, and their body language. Does being born gay mean your voice is different than straight people? That would make it a physical thing not just about sexuality...

I will be the sympathetic one, when I came out to my mom she tried to take my baby away from me. she said no gay woman can have a child and the child grow up in a healthy environment. I told her that there are more lesbian couples raising children then there are straight couples. she didn't care and disowned myself and my child...
