PLEASE don't let this be my mother. On the bright side, OP, if your daughter is of age and can write, she might hit it big. Guess where both E.L. James & Cassandra Clare were discovered? Erika was actually on the fringes of my circle of friends (my friend who also writes Drarry was friends with another person because both of them wrote Sterek and that person was friends with Erika because they both wrote Twilight) and Cassandra was part of our immediate circle. I was contacted by a new agent who found me on fanfic . net and commented that he loved the strength of my dialogue, but suggested that I needed a fresher voice (I've been called an "old soul.") Still, I have a novella coming out early next year.
