Today, I found one of those online color blindness tests where you have to distinguish a colored number from the pattern. Not being able to, I spent hundreds of dollars on medical tests to discover that the pattern online was a joke. FML

Today, I failed hard at a color test. I thought it was a joke because most of the colors looked the same to me. Now I know why people laugh at my clothes color choices. FML

Today, I recently woke up colourblind and so far no doctor or surgeon can tell me why. I'm a graphic designer, I went to university and put years of practise into this specific skill set, I need to see in colour or this could cost me my job and ruin my career prospects. FML

Today, I spent 16 minutes doing a “free” IQ test. I then found out you had to pay, and then spent another 20 on another. Now I feel dumb. FML

Today, to settle a bet with a friend, I took an online IQ test twice. The first time, I chose answers at random without reading the questions. The second time, I took it for real. I got a higher score from the random selections than from my serious attempt. FML

Today, I spent all day organizing a list of electronic parts for my boss. I found the easiest way was to color problem parts in the spreadsheet red and okay parts green. After I finished at the end of the day, I found out my boss is red-green colorblind. FML

Today, I re-sat an expensive exam I'd flunked 6 months previously. The same impossible multiple choice questions appeared, which I'd been unable to find the answers to, even with all my textbooks and the internet. FML

You know walmart does the colorblind test for $35 - and that includes glacoma and cataract screening, as well as regular vision testing

FYI TO ANYBODY WHO SKIPPED TO THE BOTTOM WITHOUT READING ANY COMMENTS TO POST THEIR OWN: Women can be colorblind, it is just rarer due to the fact that it is an X gene trait, meaning it is past along the X gene. It is also a recessive trait. Men only have one X gene that they get from their mother, if their mother is a carrier of colorblindness, or is colorblind, that male will be colorblind, for women to be colorblind, the father has to be colorblind and the mother either has to be colorblind, or a carrier, so it is rarer for females, but still possible.
