Today, I found out I have to give my father-in-law back the football tickets he gave me for my birthday. Why? His girlfriend decided she wanted to go. He didn't get me a different gift. FML

Today, my dad gave me a football signed by my favourite football player. It would've been great, except that I saw my dad sign it in front of me. The worst part is that he denies doing it. FML

Today, my girlfriend's dad called to say she wasn't allowed to come with me on a three-day trip on New Year's. He waited until Christmas to say it, even though we booked and paid for the trip nearly a month ago. Now he ruined both holidays. FML

Today, I scored two prime baseball tickets from a supplier at work. I phoned my dad to tell him the good news. He said that's great, my brother and him would love to see the game. I said, no, I'm taking you to the game. He told me I was being selfish and hung up the phone. FML

#106.... wow. Father in law=/= mother's husband. That is a step-father. a father-in-law is the father of your wife. It is totally legit for somebody to be single if there are no constraints on them.

guys....a "father-in-law" is the father of YOUR GIRLFRIEND/WIFE a step father is someone who marries your mother after your actual father is out of the picture...its incredible how soooo many people don't already know this shit...wow
