Just ask him to take you with him! Might be the first birthday present you get from him.
OP, you should just tell your dad to go to the concert anyways. If he's spent 10 years ignoring your birthday, why is he suddenly acting like he cares now? Might sound bitter, but that's what I say if it were my dad.
At least he's acknowledging it? Although it'd be better to ignore it than complain about it in my opinion
Doesn't make it suck less in my opinion. I'd hate to be OP.
The dad IS complaining about it, hence the FML.
Hence why I said it'd be better if he ignored it than complain about it
He's showing some interest, but he could have at least even more considerate about what he said, maybe he could have taken you along.
Well maybe he's starting a new leap in fathering or he is using it as an excuse either way happy early birthday hope your day is wonderful
My comment does not make seance I read it wrong sorry y'all retract
What? Communicating with spirits? I don't drink, I read complaining as canceling so then it would of made seance but I read it again and I retracted my comment don't be incompetent
I didn't know I was hear to amuse you, oh that's right I'm not
But seriously 29, your spelling is appalling.
Than don't read it
You act like I care what any of you think I don't! I love my life and everything about it! So have fun with your lonely lives
Lonely life? Damn, how did you know?! *retreats into basement*
lmfao jrock9093, life must be tough when you're an overly emotional and insecure man.
This thread is baffling, as 5's original comment made perfect sense, then he dug himself into a hole.
Bittersweet...
Maybe not. You never know, could have been a Britney Spears concert, and lord knows no one wants to go to those.
Britney Spears is a really great performer. I'm not really a big pop fan but her concerts are worth the money compared to some of the younger pop artists.
Make him feel bad for missing your birthday for the millionth time
Just tell him to go to the concert. More likely than not he's gonna be a mood killer durning your birthday party.
