Today, I found out I've miserably failed a college exam. My friend had agreed to pass me answers if I needed them, since I've hardly studied this year. We were on the phone when she said, "Oh, those answers were bullshit. Serves you right, huh?" FML

Today, I got my results on a recent, important midterm. During the exam, I'd noticed my instructor had accidentally left an answers page in the test packet, so being honest, I didn't look at them. It turns out she did it on purpose to help us pass. I failed. FML

Today, I made a multiple choice exam so my friend could practice and get a good grade on his real exam. While I was helping him finish it, the teacher saw it, thought we were cheating and failed us both. FML

Today, I re-sat an expensive exam I'd flunked 6 months previously. The same impossible multiple choice questions appeared, which I'd been unable to find the answers to, even with all my textbooks and the internet. FML

In retrospect, your friend did the right thing. Real friends want you to learn on your own. If you didn't study, it's your own fault. Sure, she could have cheated for you, but instead she decided to teach you a valuable lesson because, like a true friend, she wanted you to realize you should have studied and learned the material. Cheating gets you nowhere. You don't retain the material. College is serious shit and if you're not going to be an adult and take it seriously, then gtfo of college. YDI.
