Today, my boyfriend and I introduced our parents to each other, and they seemed to have already met somewhere, so I asked them about it. At first they seemed shifty, then guilty, then admitted everything. They’ve actually known each other for decades as part of the same swingers group. FML

Hahahah wow that's awkward. But why "even though"? Is it because they've been married for so long? Being married for a long time doesn't automatically sentence you to boredom; some couples still know how to make their marriage unconventional or exciting. If it's because they've had a long, happy marriage, then just because they have threesomes doesn't mean they're unsatisfied with each other at all. Also, some people are polyamorous, which might be the case here since this other woman's been around for a while.
