OP Here. I don't suffer idiots well means that I don't tolerate or deal with idiots well. Which is utter crap. It is an excuse to get out of giving me the promotion they've been promising me for years. Now they have an alternate (totally unqualified candidate) so they are passing me over. FML. Onto bigger and better things I guess.

I don't either. Stupid, lazy and ignorant people drive me insane. It's going to get worse, though. When someone can't give change back from a $10 bill without using a calculator, it's bad. Welcome to the age of smart phones and social media.

Every job you gotta deal with dumb people. Something in the way you handle people has been noted and is preventing you from promotion. Time to look seriously at how you deal with people.
