Today, I found out that I'm pregnant and sent a picture of the positive test to my boyfriend. Before I got a text back from him, I saw his newly updated Facebook status, which read, "This has got to be the most depressing day of my life." FML

I hate how important conversations have been reduced to a text message...

@Avenger The statistical probability though in this situation is that they had unprotected sex. You should always use protection when you are having sex if you don't plan on having kids even if there is a small chance you can still get pregnant whilst using protection it's still smaller odds than not using it at all.

Awh shit. Fml is right. but why would you tell him over text... that's something that should be said in person?

Maybe something else was going on at the moment, but as soon as he saw the picture you sent him, I'm sure it was the greatest day of his life! Congrats!

Right, because it's difficult for two people to raise an unexpected baby, so I'm sure the kid would be better off being being raised by only one person who wasn't expecting it. Everyone knows children are better off without their fathers.

Men view the news at the extreme opposite end of the spectrum, it's a fact

Believe it or not, not every woman wants to have kids either.

Honestly, people like this don't really sound too fit to be having children. Their complete lack of respect for each other (her for texting such HUGE news, him for disregarding her feelings) and even so much as continuing the childishness by posting an FML about it. I guess nothing, especially of all things the creation of human life, is sacred anymore.

Why are her feelings the only important ones? The boyfriend has every right to be depressed about it, though I agree she shouldn't have texted the news to him.

Not everybody wants children and its completely uncool to think it would be positively received.
