Well, there are worse names to be called. I spent most of high-school being called either "Harry potter" (due to brown hair, thick glasses, and a small scar on my forehead), "Hitler" (Due to my somewhat radical views on the criminal justice system) or "Dr. Mengele" (Because I wanted to be a doctor and they thought I was insane)
What gave them that impression?
It's been proven through surveys that lesbians tend to have better sex than hetero or even bi people so just think of it like you're viewed as somebody who gets great action.
There are two girls in my school who both have the same first, middle and last name.

what's wrong with that? just correct them, but if they're small-minded enough to think calling someone a lesbian is an insult then they're probably not worth associating with.
easy as just correcting them
