I was in my 20s when it was revealed that I was not named after my father (despite the fact that we are both named James but he goes by Jim whereas I go by Jamie) but after my mother's high school boyfriend named Jamie. Not a big deal. Sometimes people just like the name.

Dude get over it! I'm going to name my son if i have one Andrew after my ex. I love the name and he's also 6 feet under. Did you ask her why she named the kid after the ex? If not your making a big deal over nothing. I agree with anyone that said she could have just like the name.
