Today, I found out that the 20% pay cut that the "management team" took at my job really only applied to... me. I also found out that my closest friend at work has been lying to me about it, and telling my boss everything I say. His pay was never cut. I guess it pays to be the boss's snitch. FML

Today, my coworker got a raise by making our boss give me a pay cut for doing his job while he was slacking off. As we were heading home for the day, he found $100. FML

Today, I found out via a voicemail from my boss that my hours are being cut. He said, "They said I can't fire you, so you'll only be getting 20 hours a week. Starting today." Who'd they give my other 20 hours to? The one person that calls off sick almost daily and is never on time. FML

Today, I was getting lunch at a fast food restaurant. My boss was in front of me, and in order to get on his good side I offered to pay. Instead, I got fired because I guess my boss assumed I was making fun of his salary, which I knew nothing about. FML

Any wage can be cut 20%. If you're being paid $10/hr., that means you're reduced to $8/hr. If you're being paid $8/hr., you're reduced to $6.4/hr. If you're being paid $6.4/hr., you're reduced to $5.12/hr. Shall I go on?

...Is your job the same as your "friends"? Because I'm pretty sure that's illegal, particularly if you are a female/minority group. Methinks I can smell a lawsuit :D But even so, it's dog eat dog. Only say things about your job/boss that you would say if he/she is in the room with you.
