Today, I found out that the only reason why I haven't had a relationship last for more than a week the past 4 years is because of my stalker ex-girlfriend, who has been keeping other women out of my life by making up horrible stories about me. She broke up with me 5 years ago. FML

A restraining order should be placed, but unfortunately chances are it wouldn't stop OP's ex from talking to his future girlfriend/s and doing what she can to prevent the relationship.

Most girls trust each other unless they have a reason not to. Now that OP found out, either a restraining order, telling the new girlfriends about the psycho bitch or confronting the psycho bitch. Doubtful that'll stop her alone, but finding out why she's doing that might be helpful. Is she still in love with him? Unless OP is a major asshole and had it coming to himself, giving the poor guy a break might be smart!
