SO here is my take on this! 1) You got a tattoo for someone else! (mistake number one!) 2) you then post it here looking for sympathy (mistake number two!) 3) This is the best one, you then submit another FML because this one isnt going the way you want it to!!!! WHAT EVER!!! m/

Ghad. The FML here isn't that he got a tattoo about it, it's that the relationship ENDED. That's quite an FML. All the people who say he deserved to be left are just plain dumb.

YDI. Not for having your relationship end, but for getting a tattoo based on it to begin with. Nothing lasts forever.

Yeah, that's why you should never tattoo someone's name on your body... other than your own or maybe your child's. Have it removed and quit bitching about your own stupidity.

That's why any tattoo artist you talk to will try to talk you out of tattooing somebody's name on your body. An artist once told me he'll only tattoo the names of dead people because dead people probably aren't going to be able to piss your off/end relationships/etc. anymore.

#139 Exactly, the artist that did the tribute tattoo on my sister for our dad told her that tattooing a living persons name is bad luck and he wont do it, doesn't matter who the person is either, parent, child, boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse/friend

And this, ladies and gents, is why you don't get significant others names tattooed on you.
