Today, I found out why my girlfriend of 8 months has never agreed to stay the night before. Now I have a 4-month old mattress that needs replacing, and a 23-year-old bedwetter for a girlfriend. FML

Meanwhile, somewhere else on FML. "Today I felt comfortable enough with my boyfriend to stay the night with him in spite of an embarrassing problem. I did it because he kept pressuring me. I wet his bed, and he was a real jerk about it. He even posted details about it on this site, as if I wouldn't bloody see it. FML"

That's a shame. She's probably really embarrassed about it all. Try to be understanding, if you can.

Is getting a new mattress really called for?

hey man don't judge. my step brother is like, 13 and still has a really hard time dealing with it. it's not a n easy thing to live with and if you can't accept it, then get over it and find someone else.

Lol. medical condition or not. Embarressed as can be. She spent the night knowingly that she highly likely to piss in his bed. He has every right to be insulted. She made the choice to stay, she could have told him too.

Yet he posts it on FML for the entire world to see? She probably thought he'd be more supportive. Shut up.

She probably hadn't had an accident for a while and thought it would be ok. I imagine that she was gaining confidence before this incident took place. She also probably wanted to make her boyfriend happy since he was trying to convince her to stay over. I imagine this event had made her feel even worse and lose even more confidence. Instead of telling this guy she probably really liked about her very degrading, probably-medical condition when she probably thought she could get by without having to, she had an accident and had it thrown in her face. I imagine this was like a nightmare come true for her.

She needs adult diapers... Problem solved.

Get rid of the mattress and get rid of her

Problem? If she seriously had a condition that causes her to wet the bed every night, which I've never in my life heard of, then she should of came prepared and worn a diaper. The only times I've ever heard of adults wetting the bed is when they were completely wasted. Buy a new mattress and her some depends, or get rid of her.

Lots of people have that problem as kids, and it sometimes carries into adulthood. It's probably something she can't control. Don't make her feel even more embarrassed than she already must be :)

Not necessarily her fault though, don't get angry at her

You dont need to replace if she pissed in it ONCE
