Today, I found some charges on my credit card for two round trip tickets to Las Vegas. Turns out my daughter and her stoner, unemployed boyfriend stole my credit card and flew to Vegas over the weekend to get married. I paid for my daughter's elopement. FML

I would report her for stealing your credit card. You would have 2 things. 1. Your money back 2. Your dumbshit daughter would have to pay for her crimes.

Can you say felony? Have them arrested!

I would say call the police, but that's kind of harsh to do to a family member. Just kick her out of your life, you don't need stupid thieving brats running around. If she thinks it's OK to steal from her mother, then show her who's the boss.

steal HER credit card and use it to pay someone to evict her.

You got off cheap. A lot of dads end up paying for an actual wedding-wedding, not just an elopement-wedding. Seriously my friend, you got off cheap. As for your daughter marrying a douchebag...time for a little self-analysis.

Um, press charges. That's called theft.

Wow... that sucks. I'd make her pay it all back. With interest.

this seems kinda fake and plus #79 that would be his daughter... who would press charges against a family member...

You can and should most definitely press charges, family member means nothing. Or are you saying that all those mothers who kill their children shouldn't be punished? All those uncles who rape their nieces and nephews shouldn't be legally charged? All those parents who use unwarranted physical punishment (as in all-out beatings, not slaps on the wrists or spankings) shouldn't have their children taken away? My grandfather pressed charges against my ex-uncle, because he stole a lot of his shit while he was forcing him to move. My aunt never forgave him, even after all the abusive bs she went through with said ex-uncle. Famly means shit these days, especially when it comes to these kinds of things.

Perhaps you should've been a better parent.

father of the bride, that's the tradition.
