Proactive does NOT work! i tried it and it makes u break out really bad, and then u keep waiting for it to get better (bcuz most acne solutions get worse before they get better) but it never does. anyway, that was really rude of her

While ProActive is not the best present (and kind of embarrassing for someone to give it to you), I think your boyfriend's mom was just concerned. Some people get a lot of acne and can't help it, she was trying to help you out with it. I can still see how you're upset though, and your boyfriend's explanation was just rude.

haha that's not that bad, but his explanation is sketchy since they can airbrush out any acne....and that's also kinda funny cause when my family asked me what I wanted for my birthday I asked for ProActiv even though I don't really have bad acne, just the occasional breakout, and I didn't get any.
