Follow these simple steps: 1) Punch your dad in the face 2) Tie Him up 3) Cut off fingers until he gives you the password 4) Dump body in the lake 5) Enjoy **** on your computer
Reformat the hard drive. Start from scratch. Set a password so that your dad can't change the settings. Come on, you're more computer savvy than your father, right?
I've read some of the fixes...and they're probably too complicated. Here's my solution...this works only if your dad is not a computer wiz To create/change admin account 1) turn on the computer 2) keep pressing f8 until the screen asks if you want to go into safe mode 3) press enter on safe mode 4) once loaded, click the administrator account (the normal and safe mode administrator accounts are not connected, Hence you can get into this one) 5) now go to control panel and create an admin account (make sure you don't name it admin or alter your dad's account so he doesn'f find out) How to disable monitoring/time limit tools These tools are often times separate applications or programs...so we just have to shut them down 1) open up word or notepad 2) type a letter init (it doesn't really matter what you type) 3) don't save the document and leave it open 4) try to shutdown (this will start shutting off all programs) 5) word or notepad will ask you if you want to save (click cancel) 6) Now, you have no time limit or monitoring program for this log in ENJOY....yah since my parents really limited me, I figured these out on my own by fiddling around with the computer....NO HACKS OR TOOLS NEEDEd =) aka no chance of accidently getting something you didn't want.
lol ... i just hope your bios doesn't allow that sort of restrictions (i haven't seen one yet ... but it could be possible to have one that does that) and you can easily do whatever you want ... just remember , google's your friend ;)
lol that sucks. in a week im getting a computer, and now im afraid my dad's gonna do the same thing.
This happened to me XD but it askes for the password even when I'm installing things like games or programs. What I did was get photoshop which I had been wanting for a long time, then go to my dad as he was getting ready for bed (and there for very out of it) show him what I was installing, then hand him the laptop while he entered the password while he installed it. I watched him enter the password. I got onto his account and turned off the time settings XD he never checks it so it works for me.
FFR. Seriously, you shouldn't even NEED the windows disk for it (though it's helpful to have them)

Just download tons of horse **** on his computer. When he asks why, tell him that for some reason, you couldn't download anything on yours so you used his instead. :D
How old are you?
