27- it qualifies you but doesn't mean you can get any job. the GOOD salons will put you through a series of rigorous interviews and testing. there are 2 types of people who are in beauty schools- the ones with natural talent and the ones who will fail no matter how much training you give them. the people who get hired in a nice salon are professional and have the common sense to know that you wouldn't even dare use a towel that is being used on a guest. like someone else said just look at the show tabathas salon takeover- cheap-ass, tacky, no talent salons with unprofessional employees.

wtf was she thinking. Besides relentlessly telling off the manager for hiring such a POS, I would get in touch with the state regulatory agency about this. Depending where you live, it should be something like the state board of cosmetology, or bureau of professional and occupational affairs. PLEASE let them know! I am sick of scum like that making the rest of us look bad.
