Today, I was pulled over and fined $100 for driving without a license, as I'd accidentally left home without my wallet. I later found my wallet wedged beside my car seat, where it had been the entire time. FML

You're not allowed to control any vehicle while drunk. Biking or Boating count. Probably horses as well. You should know this and not put people in danger while you are drunk. This is no one's fault but your own.

Whether or not this is a fyl or a ydi really depends on some not given information. Where you in the driver seat? Where you carrying your keys in an obvious manor?How strict are the laws there? I had a cousin get arrested for simply sitting on the curb drunk while her DD went to get the car because the town is a no tolerance town.
