Today, I got engaged to my boyfriend of three years. I made the announcement on my status on facebook so people would congratulate me. The only response I got about my engagement was from a girl I knew saying; "Umm, he didn't tell you he was cheating on you for three years with me?" FML

Yeah really. I'm getting tired of everyone chastising her for putting it on Facebook. She's excited for people to know. Getting engaged is a pretty big deal. Most people would probably put that on Facebook, and people put their relationships on Facebook all the time. I don't see how there is a problem with her doing it too.
