The management sounds like a bunch of right ****.
Classy
Two things wrong with your statement; This sexualization for customers is not an American thing, it happens pretty much everywhere else, and we do have worker laws, she was probably was in a job with 'willful management' (I don't remember, don't quote me on the name) where you can be terminated without the boss needing a reason, and this is usually only in entry level jobs.
She's also only started working there, in Canada there's the 3 month probationary period which you can be terminated without much reason during that time. At least in Alberta. Showing skin in restaurants (especially pubs) is usually aiming to get better tips.
I mean, Hooters is a family restaurant. If she was working there and not showing off breasts that might make a YDI, but otherwise, yeah that sucks.
OK, unless the restaurant was a Hooters, you could actually probably file an unlawful termination lawsuit
Personally it's always awkward when the waitress shows too much of her boobs
Judge "Did you terminate the applaintif for not showing cleavage?" Boss "No. I fired her because she wasn't up to snuff." Judge "Works for me, case closed"
I take it you don't want to work for a breastrant?
Unless your working at a hooters, good riddance to that place OP.

That is so unfair. Don't loose your self respect for a job.
You don't want to work at a place like that anyways. You deserve a better job where they actually treat their employees with self respect.
