By its ok to cheat!? - 20/02/2013 21:52 - United States - Brisbane

Today, I got my results on a recent, important midterm. During the exam, I'd noticed my instructor had accidentally left an answers page in the test packet, so being honest, I didn't look at them. It turns out she did it on purpose to help us pass. I failed. FML

whats the point of a test if youre given the answers....unless im missing something?

I wonder what the dean/principal/program director or other appropriate authority in the school would have to say about those testing methods......

Aw, if I were that instructor, noticing that there were still some students who failed given the answers, I would curve the lower scores for assuming they were honest enough not to cheat! Proud of you, OP.

That's stupid. The teacher should've considered students who thought like you. If the answers were in the back, she should've immediately given the points for those questions to you, rather than just assume people would use it.

I think you got more out of that test than anybody else in the class! Good for you!!

No child left behind right? USA standards sure are getting low.

I'm pretty sure she would have mentioned that in class at some point...

Honesty is the best policy. Good job OP
