Your health and your baby is more important than that job--- you had every right to stay home-- better yet, go to the hospital!

I thought that this FML was going to be about something completely different when I read 'rear-ended'.

So I'm actually OP, Sorry, it took me a while to respond but I've had a bit to deal with. Basically, the office i work at is uber tiny (literally, three other people besides myself - boss included). So when the boss is out, I have to run the show. So I tried sucking it up and being strong but, due to the fact I just had a car accident, I was stressed out and suffering from back pain (luckily, it wasn't whiplash in the neck). I was able to leave early but was there for about 6 hours, regardless. Yes. I did go to the hospital and yes I did get checked out. I just have minor back pain in my lower lumbars now but I'm alright. Unfortunately, I lost the baby on Sunday evening. I was about 6 weeks along. I had just heard their heartbeat for the first time. I was just starting to get all excited over this whole prospect of being a mama and then it was gone. Once you start having a miscarriage there is little they can do. The doctors can only advise you to rest but if its going to happen, its going to happen. :( While I was, of course devastated in my own way, I believe that this was just God's way of telling me wasn't our time. It hurts, it hurts a lot, but I'm doing okay with it. Unfortunately, when they're that small there is nothing you can do except rest. And given the fever from the UTI (from being pregnant) and all the extra stress, my baby just couldn't take it. I have an appointment with the doctor to verify that it was indeed a true miscarriage but deep in my heart I know. A mother knows. I know my child is no longer with me. And that is extremely hard. Anyhow, I don't mean to make this a sob fest. I am just so ridiculously angry at everything. I'm angry at the idiot who read ended me at 75mph on the Freeway as we were all driving. I'm angry that the cop on the side of the road didn't pull him over. I'm angry that when I called the police they did nothing. And I'm angry that I had to suffer through that day at work, sick, in pain, and end up losing my child because of it. Seriously, this week has been nothing short of a FML. :(

wtf kinda parent are you gonna be?! you dont care about ur unborn babies safety? your one of them people who has no right having kids.

Id go to the hospital to make sure the baby is ok :/
