Today, I got very dressed up and was excited for my uncle's wedding. While standing in line for photos, I heard my dad's voice from behind me say "Who's the hot chick in the brown dress?" My uncle responds "Uh, that's your daughter." Silence. FML

A similar thing happened to me once. I was just like "Awkwardddd..." and walked away. Kind of creepy, but I guess it's a compliment?

I wouldn't feel too bad. I bet by that point your dad had a few drinks. That coupled with the fact that you are probably hot and he was with your uncle (and therefore trying to be all macho and stereotypical male who leers at all the pretty girls). I would imagine that he is even more embarrassed than you could ever be.
