Today, I had a mild epileptic seizure. My mom's immediate reaction was not to comfort me or call for help, but to freak out over the fact that I'd spilled my glass of milk over the floor. FML

Well have you ever tried to get milk out of your carpet?

I'd be pissed if I was your mom. You could have yelled before the seizure rather than dropping your milk on the ground. God.

I really hope that was sarcasm...

*facepalm* Of course it was sarcasm!! You can't tell by the wording?

Excuse me but did you ever think that dropping the milk was a freaking accident because he was having a freaking seizure and couldn't freaking predict it GOD

29 - Obviously you don't think before you spit out ignorant words like that.

Some seizures are actually preceded by an aura. Some people can actually tell when they will have a seizure and service dogs are trained to recognize this aura as well.

Some people rarely know when a seizure is about to happen.

You do realize he had a mild ******* SEIZURE, meaning he couldn't help it, which is a medical condition. I would feel sympathy if your kids have epilepsy. ****...

Buddy i feel your pain I'm Epileptic as well next time you mon is inconsiderate like that tell her to go shove her head in her ass

I believe he was using sarcasm when talking about this "mild ******* SEIZURE" But that is just my guess. Either this is your first time on FMyLife and you are a complete dumbass. Or you are a complete dumbass.

Whose first time on FML? My first time?

No use crying over spilt milk! Haha but really that whole fml should be a scene in a movie

Being medical personnel, I have to say that after having seen someone go into a seizure, and having experienced the fear when my father had one-- there is no way that any mother would ever sit by while their child was on the floor convulsing, soiling themselves, eyes rolling back into their skulls, uncontrollable spasms completely taking over their body. It's ******* scary, and humiliating for the one who has to experience it. I'm not one to completely dismiss something without giving the benefit of the doubt; maybe your mother seriously thought you were faking it, and chose to fret over the milk just to play along? If you are, however, epileptic and suffer from seizures I am very sorry.

There are different kinds of seizures. I believe the grand mal seizures are like what you described that are pretty intense, but there are lesser ones where you just basically lock up and don't convulse and then there's everything in between. Since OP said it was a mild seizure, I was thinking he/she had one where she just locked up or only slightly convulsed.

Wait we're you saying op was sarcastic or the person you commented on ?? Confusing!

@ #14 I know, right? Kids these days are like animals e_e ... @ The_a_teen, who let you on the internet? GTFO. @37 I think it's the latter, personally. first-timers with that feeble amount of brain power would take too long to figure out how to comment on their first day. @46 He was saying that #16 was sarcastic, if you use the logical thought process called "process of elimination" (mulling possibilities and cancelling out the ones that make the least sense), you figure things out quick without having to make yourself out to be a 'tard. everybody understand now?
