As a retail worker, I understand how commonplace is sort of thing is ( and shouldn't be, but I digress). I've come to notice that certain times of day equals a particular type of customer. In issues where events like this happen, it often during the time (mid-morning and occassionally mid-afternoon) when the majority of patrons are elderly.

I completely agree. When I worked retail I noticed this too, for us it was between 10 -11. I would specifically take my break early because I knew what was coming.

Imagine catching that person during the act and how much more awkward it would have been? Either way I am sorry you had to clean up that mess in a some what unexpected place depending on where you work (believe me, I have heard those types of stories from Walmart employees that I know).

In my experience? They don't care. I've seen people pee their pants or take a shit right in front of me. It's disgusting. Generally they are drunk, stoned or both. Some feel its a way of literally ******** on those beneath them in society.
