does she also think the world is flat? :P
There actually is (sadly) a group of people who still are convinced the world is flat.-begin sarcastic enthusiasm- They even have a website for discussion. -end sarcastic enthusiasm-
I award your friend the Dumb Bitch of the Decade award
She should spend more time with her grandparents...
In the beginning, the world was in full color. All older paintings are in color. Da Vinci lived in a colorful world. The French Revolution and Napoleon's Empire were all in full color. That all changed by the ascent of Queen Victoria to the throne in 1837. The most powerful monarch in the world was so full of gloom that she effectively turned the whole world to black and white. Even after her death, there was but a faint memory of the colorful world before her, and so it took a while for the world to recover its color. That's why both World Wars happened in black and white. The world only started to show signs of recovery during the sixties, but it wasn't until the spring of 1978 that color was recovered worldwide. This is my theory about how the world was black and white in the past.
Wait..does that mean Technicolor wasn't created by a mad scientist to plague the world with color? My life is a lie!!!

It's always been hard for me to imagine the past being in color because of black n white pics
There used to be no sound in the world either
