Today, I had to get bloodwork done. I'm deathly afraid of needles. The whole lobby heard me scream as soon as the nurse said 'hello'. FML

lol the nurse probably thinks she is ugly or something, and you screamed when you saw her hahaha.....Today, at work as a nurse, a patient screamed as soon as they saw me when i walked into the room. FML.

No worries, when I had to get a blood test, I had a panic attack, fainted and had to be carried out of the hospital. I still have to go back to get the test done.

If you think about it it's possible she gave birth at twelve(being if she had a recent birthday and the baby is about to have one) and it was 9 months before that she was impregnated so now it's possible she got impregnated at the age of early 12 or 13 years old. Your the kind I see in the hall and(pregnant or not) think your life is going no where from here on.

The nurse / phlebotomist won't always use your needle of preference. There's more risks involved with the butterfly needle to the person drawing your blood. I guess it depends on where you go. At my hospital, if someone requests a small needle and they have good veins, we basically say too bad haha
