Today, I had to go through the embarrassment and pain of telling my parents I was pregnant. I took the test and it came out positive and I was freaking out. I got grounded for the rest of the year and they're really disappointed in me. Five minutes ago, I got my period. FML

To the people saying there is no such thing as a false negative, yes you CAN get one!! My mom tested positive two years before she was pregnant with me and I DO NOT have an older sibling. It IS possible!!

'False negative' means the test says you're not pregnant while you, in fact, are. You are talking about 'false positive', which is obviously entirely possible.

I had 3 when I was pregnant with my first daughter! Sorry to say... Ol girl might need to go see a doctor bc false positives are rare.

If you got pregnant rather close to when you were going to have your period you probably would still get your period but it wouldn't last as long and would be really light

You can still get your period the first month after you conceive. Or at least, spot heavily enough that it seems like your period. Make a dr appt

two possible explanations: blue dye test's evap line (looks a lot like a positive) or you're still pregnant and are one of the women who still menstruates
