That must be bollocks. No self respecting nightclub, off licence, movie theatre, bar, supermarket or trader/supplier of any age restricted products or services would accept facebook as ID. The loss of their licence and the fact they would be prosecuted would see to that.

Maybe they were humoring her because they could see that she passes the age limit? I'm not saying she looks old, by the way.

Clearly not as a driver's license or anything government official, but with a little flirting most clubs and bars here in DC didn't seem to have a problem when I lost my real ID. I've also had retail stores accept it to use my credit card. I think they just don't care, honestly.

I cant help but wonder how old your daughter is. The only way this wouldn't make her unintelligent is if she was really young, but in that case she shouldn't have a Facebook

Actually this is not true. Several of my friends younger siblings have Facebook accounts and they are about 11-12.

11-12 is still kinda a young and pointless for a Facebook. And yah, she probably is older but perhaps she was just wondering about it? Who knows?
