Not really. It looks that way since you shave it to the thick part of the hair so it looks thicker. I agree with the waxing though. It does grow back slower and when it grows all back it's smooth. It'll hurt like a bitch though.

Yeahbut with waxing you have to let it grow out until its long enough to wax! As a brunette with naturally thick hair, I'd advise against it

(to #53) This... this is what my stylist told me when I asked her about it. She suggested a depilatory cream, but once again, you have to let the hair grow out long enough for it to have any effect. I just shave and don't worry about it.

Actually, yes really. I've been waxing for years - not my face admittedly but in all areas that I have waxed, the hair grows back slower and finer.... it's because the hair grows back from the root and as such is a new strand of hair. while the hair is growing back through you could use a bleaching agent on it to lighten it until it's time to wax again. There is laser hair removal but I am lead to believe this can be expensive...don't quote me though - as it's not something I have researched myself. xx

Or she could do both so that it starts to grow back less and less and bleach it while she waiting for it to grow long enough to wax! Also if it is a hormone imbalance it could be serious so OP I'd suggest you check that out...

In the meantime OP could wax the hair off? The smoothness lasts a lot longer and hair doesn't grow back as fast than shaving. I hope everything gets better OP!

You have peach fuzz for a reason waxing it off will allow more oil to sit on your face and produce pimples.
