Wow, the same thing happened to me in High School. Had to show my license to the janitor before he let me in the girls' bathroom :P It happens; you just gotta forgive and forget sometimes :P

Hey i have had this happen before but in the car with my friend the cop asked me it im her brother or boyfrined...i had no id on me yet you could see i had breasts (and not fat breasts on a fat male) yet he still asked so i agree fyl its bull shit half these people dont know is no matter how you try if your a tom boy pink dosnt work

The entire FML is written in the past tense (I had to...), so to say "I am a girl" would not have been appropriate. She was not proving now that she is a girl. She was proving then that she was a girl. OP - it might, of course, be that he was being a jackass in the hope that you would find a more creative way to prove that you are a girl!
