This is like the bathrooms in my dorm. They also use motion sensors, but are not really faulty. The lights stay on for a short while though, and often I have to jump for them to turn back on because just waving my arms doesn't work.

This is common in the employee bathroom at my work. There have been a few times it won't turn on and it's pitch black.

Um....why not just do it when you're done and need to finish up? It's not like you need a lot of light to do your business while you're sitting.

DIY call it in or fix it yourself...try a fan...When it moves back and forth the motion sensor should pick it up...hopefully

You are going to have to bring in a lantern in the meantime till its fixed.
