Today, I learned that my brakes don't work anymore on my bike. When did I learn this? While speeding down a really steep hill. FML

That happened to me before OP, except I found it out driving down a steep road leading off a valley in winter. Luckily I didn't fall down the valley, but I slid and fell on the road infront of an oncoming car. Luckily the car didn't hit me, so I walked away with a few scratches. Damn i'm lucky.

Ooh, that sucks. Hopefully you didn't freak out and were able to coast until it was safe to skid to a halt. I think I would have panicked, though...
